The Tsugaru shamisen duo Yoshida Brothers have been announced as guests at the upcoming Otakon convention, which takes place in Baltimore, Maryland on July 30 to August 1.
Known around the world, The Yoshida Brothers may be best known to American audiences for their song used in Nintendo Wii commercials in 2007. They have already released multiple albums in the U.S. and have toured the country a few times. Their last U.S. tour was in 2009, to help promote their album “PRISM.”
