The finals of the 22nd JUNON Superboy Contest were held on Monday. A record 15,491 men entered the competition, and 16-year-old Yu Inaba ultimately claimed the grand prize, impressing a panel of judges that included singer Ken Hirai (37).
Inaba is currently a second-year high school student from Kanagawa. The victory earned him 500,000 yen and the start of his entertainment career.
