Young singer-songwriter YUI has announced on her official website that she is taking a short break from music to “refresh” herself. The break will start after the release of a new song in the fall, and she plans to resume work next year.
YUI signed with Sony at the age of 17 after participating in an audition. Since her debut in 2005, she has released a dozen singles and three full albums.
